Risk disclosure
Last updated
Read the risks below before you apply, and lock only an amount you can lose without disturbing your living costs. This page does not urge you to stake or to stay away. It states what the reward rate on screen does not guarantee.
1. The price can fall
Cryptoasset prices can move sharply in a day. Rewards increase the coin count. They do not increase a fiat balance.
A 10% increase in coins is still a smaller balance if the price falls 30%. Do not add the reward rate and the price return into one number.
2. You cannot take it out before maturity
There is no early exit during the term. A need for cash or a sharp drop in price does not open a withdrawal. Money that has a spending date should not be locked past that date.
3. The rate is an expectation, and the price is not guaranteed
The rate on the application screen is the coin-count ratio for that request. A new request can show a different rate. A position that has started keeps its rate, and that rate still does not guarantee the fiat value at maturity. Past payouts do not guarantee the next term.
4. The Company holds the assets during the term
You do not run a validator. Deposited assets sit under the Company's custody and operation until the term ends. An operational failure, a breakdown in internal controls or insolvency can delay the return or prevent a full return. The blockchain protocol does not insure that risk.
5. Technology can fail
A network halt, a chain split (fork), a client bug or congestion can delay confirmation. Validation on Polygon, Ethereum and Solana can include slashing, which destroys part of a validator's stake for breaking the rules. Bitcoin and XRP do not pay protocol staking interest, so rewards on those products depend on the Company's commitment, not on a protocol guarantee.
6. A wrong address or network is hard to undo
Assets sent on the wrong network, to an address that differs by one character, or without an XRP destination tag do not bounce back automatically. Without cooperation from the receiving address, recovery may be impossible. The Company does not compensate a loss caused by what you typed.
7. Regulation can shrink the service
Cryptoasset rules differ by country and can change. New sign-ups or a particular asset may be restricted in a region, or a published timeline may slip because of the law. Do not assume the service is lawfully offered to users in every country.
8. Tax is a separate question
Coins added as a reward, or a later sale, may be taxable. Whether and how to report depends on where you live and on your own situation. The Company is not a tax adviser. The coin count on screen is not an after-tax amount.
9. The decision is yours
Articles, the calculator and price scenarios on 폴리젠 are explanations. They are not a recommendation to buy, sell or stake. Do not apply for a product you do not understand, and read this disclosure and the terms again before you apply.
