AML policy
Last updated
폴리젠 runs customer checks, transaction monitoring, record keeping and suspicious-activity reporting so the service is not used for money laundering or terrorist financing. This page tells you that process in advance. It does not certify that any particular address is free of sanctions.
1. What this policy is for
Money laundering hides the origin of criminal proceeds. Terrorist financing moves funds toward prohibited activity. Cryptoassets cross borders quickly, so a staking service can become part of that path. The Company checks sign-ups and transfers to reduce that risk.
2. Customer identification
Every user signs up with a phone number in their own name, plus their name and date of birth. People under 20 cannot sign up. The check ties the account to one person so the Company can see blocked identities and repeated sign-ups.
3. When more information is required
If a risk signal appears, the Company may pause withdrawals or new requests and ask for an explanation. The request comes to the email on the account. The Company does not ask for a verification code or a seed phrase in a messenger.
- Several accounts opened in a short time, or the same deposit pattern repeating
- An amount far outside the account's usual size
- A deposit from an address linked to a sanctions list or an illegal service
- A source of funds that cannot be explained in a reasonable way
4. Transaction monitoring
On-chain deposits are checked per deposit address. A new sign-up from a blocked phone number or IP is stopped automatically. Monitoring does not treat every transfer as a crime. It sends only unusual patterns for a person to review.
5. Refusal, pause and restriction
Transfers linked to sanctioned parties, unexplained sources, or illegal services are paused or refused. A withdrawal can be delayed while the pause lasts. If an authority issues an instruction, the Company follows it. If the flag was a mistake, the pause is lifted and the normal process resumes.
6. Records
Customer-identification data and transfer records are kept for the period the law requires, with 5 years as the baseline. The point of keeping them is to explain a transfer later, not to advertise another service.
7. Reports
If a suspicious transaction must be reported, the Company reports it to the competent authority, such as a financial intelligence unit. Where the law forbids tipping off, the Company may not tell you that a report was filed or what it said.
8. What we ask of you
Reply within the deadline if more documents are requested. Silence lengthens the pause. Holding someone else's assets in your name, or splitting funds across many accounts to hide the source, is a reason to restrict the account.
